Summer Training in Advanced Research (STAR)

A summer research program that supports USD undergraduates who have had prior experience to engage in research for 10 weeks during the summer. Please contact me in the fall semester (before the deadline) to develop your project proposal.

Beginning Undergraduate Research Summer Training (BURST)

A summer research program that supports USD undergraduates who have had limited to no experience to engage in research for 10 weeks during the summer. Please contact me in the fall semester (before the deadline) to discuss the opportunity.

McNair Scholars Program

A program that prepares first-generation, income-eligible, and/or underrepresented USD undergraduates for graduate study at the doctoral level, with an opportunity to participate in 10 weeks of summer research.

Beckman Scholars Program

A 15-month research program inclusive of 2 summers and 1 full academic year to deepen your research experience, supported by the Beckman Foundation. Please contact me in the fall semester (before the deadline) to apply for this competitive program.
